D751 is a macroporous styrene-based ion exchange resin with an imine diacetic acid as the chelating carboxylic acid functional group. Within the solutions where multi-valences of metallic ions exist, it only binds to the metallic ions whose valences are greater than or equal to divalence to form stable complexes. It is mainly used for the removal of calcium and magnesium impurities in salt solution which is prepared for alkali production by ionic membrane method in chlor-alkali industries, particularly widely being used in the field of wastewater treatment.
