Light Gasoline Etherification Resin Catalyst


D005-IIs resin catalyst adopts suspension polymerization technology to synthesize macroporous polystyrene skeleton crosslinking divinylbenzene, thereon forming strong-acid resin after undergoing physical structure stabilization, sulfonation, and other processes. This product is specialized in catalyzing the etherification reaction of light gasoline, which has significant characteristics of good selectivity, high conversion rate, stable catalytic performance and long service life, etc.   

Generally, light gasoline etherification technology is mainly applied to decompose hydrocarbon substances into petrol and diesel. During the catalytic rectification of light gasoline, D005-IIs efficiently catalyzes the active tertiary olefins within the catalytic fraction to undergo etherification reaction with methanol, which is converted into tertiary alkyl ether to reduce the overall olefin content in gasoline. As a result, it greatly increases octane content of petrol components by 1~2% as well as its oxygen level, and thereby reducing both the vapor pressure of gasoline and the emissions of harmful substances from automobile exhaust, such as hydrocarbon, smoke dust and the like. The air pollution is therefore improved.
