Special Resin Catalyst for Esterification/Etherification

PRODUCT DATA SHEET:

DA-330 resin catalyst is specially used for the addition reaction of acetic acid and n-butene to synthesize sec-butyl acetate, whose formula is referred as [CH3COOH+ C4H8->C6H12O2].

Besides, it is also used for expedite the condensation polymerization rate of tert-butanol(TBA) and methanol in esterification for producing methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) and water. In the presence of catalyst DA-330, plus under high temperature and medium pressure conditions, the synthesis reacts at one step as illustrated:

Owing to its special synthesis process and appropriate porosity that is well designed, DA-330 outperforms with large exchange capacity, high conversion rate, excellent temperature resistance and stability as well as serves longer use cycle within the common operation of esterification and etherification in chemical industry.
