PRODUCT DATA SHEET:

DNW-II is a high temperature resistant strong-acid resin catalyst, introducing strong adsorptive electron groups as well as sulfate(-SO3H) functional groups into styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer skeleton, which remains stable performance under high temperature conditions of 160-180ºC. 

The specially devised pore structure of this product not only enables its high strength but also enhances the diffusion rate of reactants and resultants, which empowers its significant characteristics of high catalytic activity and selectivity. DNW-II is mainly used as a catalyst for the hydration of high-purity butane in the methyl ethyl ketone unit to produce sec-butanol.

PRODUCT APPLICATION CHARACTERISTICS AND MAIN PERFORMANCE INDEXES OF DNW-II(WET):

DNW-II thermo-stable resin catalyst is featured as low corrosiveness, pollution-free, simple operating process, energy-saving, and sustainable production, which has been widely used in petrochemical industry as solid granular catalyst. In the specific application, DNW-II can replace sulfuric acid in a wide range of fine chemical industrial reactions, the common organic synthesis processes of which can cover yet not limited to: olefin hydration, alkylation, etherification, esterification, cyclodehydration, ammoniation, acetone dimerization, olefin dimerization, etc.

Evaluated by Q/DMT053-2020 standard, DNW-II’s thermal stability and activity have reached the international industrial production level of high temperature resistant strong-acid catalysts such as A-45 and A-70. And the industrial applications of methyl ethyl ketone have proven DNW-II has the characteristics of high catalytic activity, good high temperature resistance, long service life, and the like.
