Specialty Cation Exchange Resin for Demineralization and Decolorization


KP-007 is an cation exchange resin synthesized with special technology. Specifically, considering majority of metallic ions or ammonium nitrogen cations are dissolved within biochemical medicine wastewater, the special strong-acid functional groups of KP-007 play a key role in removing those strong cations as well as potential non-polarity and positive-polarity organic molecules as ‘colored solutes’ therein.

For thorough purified-water preparations for biopharmaceutical refining process, KP-007 is often combined with KP-307A to ensure all the anions of such strong-acid salts as nitrate, chloride, or strong-base salts as calcium salts are completely removed, for KP-307A’s special weak-alkaline groups’ selective adsorbility to strong radicals only. Meanwhile traces of remaining weak salts or weak negative-polarity organic molecules can also readily to be tightly captured by its macroporous porosity-structure. During then, industrial liquid alkali can be added to adjust PH from 9.0 to 9.5, or heated to 500℃
Precipitation of Eluent:
Add 90~95% alcohol to eluate, adjusting alcohol content to 30~35° and salinity of eluate is under 15°;
Stir, sealed standing for 24hrs;
Adsorb the supernatant by siphonage method;
Extract the bottom sediments as (wet)crude heparin.
