Styrene-based Cation Exchange Resin


D001TB is a macroporous strongly acidic styrene-based cation exchange resin with sulphonic acid functional groups, synthesized by special technology. With its high intensity and solid structure plus low swelling rate after reversible ionic state transition, this resin performs with good anti-osmotic efficiency and shock resistance.

By being largely exchanged with both strong and weak inorganic cations as well as organic cations and nonpolar organic molecules, D001TB resin is often placed within the bottom-layered cation bed of the whole three-layer water purification system, which generally sits under the middle-layered inert-resin bed, overlayed with strong-base anion-bed on the very top. 

Exchanging ions through such way of top-down inflow flux by the tribed system configuration, D001TB performs rather high exchange capacity for industrial softening applications, which can compete equivalent model AMBERLITE™ IRC200. Joint-use with D201TB has been an optimal solution of demineralization &decolorization for pure water, ultrapure water and condensed water preparations within various industries.
