D202-FG is a food grade strongly basic anion exchange resin of the sulphonated polystyrene series with type II dimethylethanolamine functional groups and macroporous granules. It has excellent physical and chemical stability and thermostable performance. Structured with fine porosity and quite intense granular strength, D202-FG performs extra strong adsorbability with negative organic molecules and nonpolar organics that most commonly are composed of odor and pigments, in addition to performing high exchange capacity of separating both strong inorganic acid radicals of metal salts and nonmetal minerals, such as SO42- , NO32-or Cl or base radical OH, and weak radicals as NH3. This premium resin model is hereby most suitable for metallic acids removal in demineralization system and industrial pure-water preparations when organics are required to release.

D202-FG, as compared to D201-FG, performs equivlent volume exchange capacity while relatively twice as large operation exchange capacity, for its special dimethylethanolamine groups increase its service cyle longer to fail. D202-FG therefore is an optimal product to treat larger amounts of impurities per time quota.

Analogous to D201FG, D202-FG is often coupled-used with D001-FG for demineralization, deionization &deorganics purposes within organic solutions. Specifically metal cations as well as postive organic molecules of color and odor are all removed by D001-FG in the first place, and then acids radicals are subject to D202FG’s groups to be exchanged while negative organics of color and odor count on its chemical macropores to be captured and released. Such combined applications therefore has been widely used for deashing, desalting, and softening in food &beverage, medicine &pharmaceuticals manufacturing industries. Particularly for removal of calcium and potassium salts, dissolved color and odor molecules and other impurity organics in the refining production of amino acids, starch and sucrose, etc.
