Styrene-based Anion Exchange Resin


D301FG is a food-grade macroporous weakly basic styrene-based anion exchange resin, containing dimethylamino functional groups. Attributed to its uniform and solid structure and low swelling rate after ionic state transition, it performs with strong resistance to osmotic shock. By its special weak-base groups’ electrostatic pull, D301FG performs strong adsorbability in organic strong-negative ions of organic pigment and odor molecules as well as exclusive exchange with inorganic strong acid radicals only, despite weak-acid radicals or weak organic anions coexisting within. Besides, its weak-base groups qualify its properties of easy-elution and high regeneration capacity upon reaching saturated so that the overall exchange capacity and resin service cycle are rather upgraded.

Specifically, the very advantages to using D301-FG lie in its high selective adsorption for inorganic strong acid radicals of metal salts and nonmetal minerals, such as SO4 2- , NO32-, Cl, F or strong base radical OH, as well as its extra large exchange capacity with negative organic molecules and nonpolar organics that generally are composed of odor and pigments, as opposed to its disadvantages of incapability to capturing weak acids neither positive organic ions.

Therefore, for complementary combinations purposes, this premium resin model is often co-used with D001-FG specializing in heavy-metals separation from metal-complexes or metal acids, and sugar liquid preparation at average standard on top of all.
