Food-Grade Macroporous Strong-Acid Polystyrene Cation Exchange Resin for Demineralization &Decolorization in Food-Production, Pharmaceutical &BioChemical Engineering


KP-007 is a food grade strongly acidic cation exchange resin of the sulphonated polystyrene series, chemical polymerized into macroporous granules. It has excellent physical and chemical stability and thermostable performance. Structured with fine porosity and quite intense granular strength, KP-007 performs extra strong adsorbability with positive organic molecules and nonpolar organics, in addition to performing high exchange capacity of separating inorganic cations of metal salts and nonmetal minerals, such as metal cations K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ or nonmetallic ammonium NH4+. This premium resin model is hereby most suitable for deashing or softening for demineralization system and industrial purification preparations when certain organics of are required to be released prior to precise composition synthesis or refined processing.

In response to the call of combined applications for securing complete deionization, decolorization&deodorization, KP-003A is often primarily applied with two congeneric anion-exchange resin models, scilicet KP-307A first followed by KP-2027A. Thanks to its exclusive selectivity and high regeneration &exchange property that its weak-base groups empower, priority-use of KP-307A can massively eliminate large amounts of strong-acids and negative organics before KP-2027A’s intense porosity get blocked and polluted prior to be in service.

Altogether, these three applications alliance serve the common purpose of demineralizing, decoloring and deodorizing process in food production, pharmaceutical and biochemical engineering, and the like.
