Specialty Ion Exchange Resin for Transition Metal Vanadium(V) Extraction/Recycle

PRODUCT DATA SHEET:

KP-202V is a specialty wastewater treatment ion exchange resin synthesized with advanced technology, specializing in adsorbing weak-acids radicals of vanadate. For its uniform and solid structure and its low expansion rate after reversible ionic transformation, this resin performs with good anti-osmotic efficiency and excellent mechanical &shock resistance. It is primarily used in vanadate separation and further vanadium recycle in alloy-plating wastewater, reusage in organic synthesis as catalyst, and most commonly applied for vanadium extraction and refining in mining industry.

Due to its special strong-base functional groups, KP-202V can separate radicals of both strong-acids and weak-acids from alloy-plating waste fluids. Specifically, this model performs high selectivity of targeted-adsorbing weak-acids vanadate as VO43- after tranforming Chloride (Cl) ionic state of resin into the strong-acid radicals i.e. SO42- before use, as it happens sulfate co-exists within same solution. In this way of ion state transition ahead to securen all the remaining VO43- are completely adsorbed into resin beads, in exchange with SO42- release back to fluids without polluting resins.

For further vanadium recycle purpose such as alloy-plating, specific oxidation reducing agents are added for recovery of V2Ooxides before ultimate vanadium extraction and refining serves the goal of recycle and reuse of transition metals.
