Specialty Ion Exchange Resin for Metallic Nickel Adsorption/Removal


KP-112 is an ion exchange resin synthesized with special technology, specializing in extracting/removing divalent nickel ions(Ni2+). For its highly complete particles, its high regeneration efficiency and excellent rinse effect, this resin is mainly applied in heavy metal ions removal, specifically metallic nickel separation within wastewater treatment, as in electroplating industry or industrial sewage.

Attributed to its exclusive condensated copolymer, plus special weak-acid functional groups, KP-112 outperforms other equivalent models for rather complete and thorough adsorption when it comes to the conditions that a certain amounts of divalent nickel cations appear within acid solution whose PH ranges from 2-7. What’s more, due to its weak-acid property of easy elution and regeneration, this resin is also applicable in neutral or alkaline solution whose PH ranges from 7 to 14 for same nickel removal purpose, as long as NaOH is pre-mixed for ionic transition into Na+ before use.
