Specialty Ion Exchange Resin for Metallic Platinum(Pt) Complex Removal/Recycle


KP-300Pt is an ion exchange resin synthesized with special technology, specializing in removing strong-acid complexes of precious metals. For its highly firm and solid structure, this resin performs with its high anti-osmotic efficiency and excellent mechanical &shock resistance as well as functions anti-pollution from organics. 

Owing to its special weak-base functional groups, KP-300Pt performs high selectivity to free radicals of strong acids, regardless of other weak-acids radicals surround by within medium-acidic mineral fluids in which the PH ranges from 3 to 7. Considering the increasing order of affinity that its special functional groups avail to, KP-300Pt is designed in priority of adsorbing platinic strong-acid anions as Pt(CN)42-,PtCl42- with rather high exchange capacity, which is being widely applied in hydrometallurgy for platinum enrichment as well as platinum-plating wastewater treatment, followed by the ultimate recycle and recovery of fine platinum after reduced agents are added.
